An AUS Key is required if you want to lodge your Business Activity Statement (BAS) or (Installment Activity Statement (IAS) using Free Accounting Software. It is recommended to use a device AUS Key rather than an administrator AUS Key or a standard AUS Key.
You can get an AUS Key from the website www.auskey.abr.gov.au.
The AUS Key website will prompt you for a the device AUS Key name during the process.
The name for the device AUS Key is: api.xbrlgloballedger.com
Remember your AUS Key password. When you are loding your Activity Statements you will need to type this password into freeaccountingsoftware.com.au.
